It is a tale told by an idiot.

When I decided I've seen enough of 'Undercover Love' by Bora Dagtekin I switched to a production of William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' of 2011 (directed by Karin Henkel).

And I have to admit I've never been so stunned by any Shakespeare adaptation before. Okay, I haven't seen much adaptations at all but this was gigantic. All of the actors had remarkable voices and Macbeth was a breeches part performed by Jana Schulz - I can't imagine anyone else playing Macbeth now. She combined the hard, mellow and sensible Macbeth and it didn't bother me for a second she's a woman.

The director will be staging 'Uncle Vanja' by Anton Chekhov next spring in Munich and I can't wait to see that. 

That was what some people call the magic of theatre. Simply stunning.
