At the border between North&South Korea..
Here we are! Getting ready to leave America. Danbi’s brother graciously drove us the Los Angeles airport and from there we started our adventure! See you in Korea!

While leaving Coex mall, we stopped by SM Town… There was a lot of merchandise in the store, and it was cool to see their building… But we moved on.
Our next destination was Namsan Tower! We got there by subway, but once we got off we had to walk up a hill before taking a cable car to the top of the hill where the tower was located. It was really chilly and nice at the top of the hill, and there were a lot of other tourists exploring the area. Most people were riding the cable car and walking down, but due to time we took the round trip car. There were a lot locks that were locked around the railings up there.. It was quite overwhelming…
We continued our adventures at the aquarium and it was really cool even just entering! There were so many different kinds of fish…. and a lot of animals that weren’t fish. So not exactly sure if they understand the definition of aquarium, but it was fun and a surprise for us to see. Here’s a video of some of the fish and animals we saw!
We were treated to Chinese Korean fusion food, like jjajangmyun and jjampong. It was really delicious, and it was served to us as an eight course dinner! And thus ended our second day of adventures~
Hello hello!! We’ll just do this blog in chronological order soooooo. The first night we ate traditional food that Danbi’s aunt brought us to. It was….ohhhhhkay but nevertheless we were thankful for the meal provided.
After dinner, Danbi’s aunt wanted to take us grocery shopping. Honestly…it was kind of a blur because It was really hard for us to stay awake because of the time change, but somehow we managed to stay awake until a decent time and went to sleep at night! Which means, no jetlag problems beyond day 1! Praise God! Haha
The person that picked us up treated us to Danbi’s favorite (our first meal in Korea), SUSHI! It was goooood~
