Just wanna remind y'all that Myka and Jane escaped the building by being clear-headed and badass and Pete defused the artifact by pouring out his emotions. Gods know this isn't a perfect show, but I love when it subverts stereotypes for the leads.
Sometimes it seems like it's nothing but anger and violence and hurt. It can be terrifying when you're out there in it but if you know where to look for it, the world also has warmth and love and forgiveness. The world has joy in it. When you find a place that allows you to experience that joy, when you find people that make you feel safe and loved, like you belong, you don't walk away from it. You fight for it.

My sister and I are rewatching Alphas and I know and love the fact that it takes place in the same world as Eureka and Warehouse 13, so I’m a little embarrassed to say that it just occurred to me that Steve and Pete (and probably Jane Lattimer) are Alphas.
