LAYNE: [sigh] What is it?
?: ... I know it's a bad time for you, but we can't let this get to us. Without Rohil and Matt, we need to move - quickly.
LAYNE: Let them handle Reaper and Faust themselves. I've got enough problems on my plate.
?: And who will clean your money? [scoff] We need them. They could easily throw us away for another "investment".
LAYNE: I'll - I'll do it Theresa's way.
?: She makes it look easy, Layne. They all do. You just don't see the hundreds of smurfs, accountants and lawyers the Landgraabs have out there working their asses off.
LAYNE: Look - I sell growfruit, but I have - I have principles, okay? Murder - that's beyond me. Matt can do that, but - I just can't. Please, Auntie. Help me.
?: [sigh] Leave it to me. Just check on the girl. She knows too much and someone saw her face yesterday. Keep her alive for now, but do me a favour. Think of a way to get rid of her - and those vermin - cleanly.
LAYNE: ... I'll try. Thanks.
He put down his phone and pushed a button underneath his desk, which opened a secret doorway to a hidden room.
LAYNE: You hungry?
Jane stopped sniffling and looked up.
JANE: No.
