Chance (also known for his unique username '777') is a Bugged AI resident living in the upper class area of The Grid. He's the owner and probability AI of the locally famous Second Chance Casino, where all rolls are calculated through their own code- which considering they're bugged AND hacked, means it's TRULY random chance! (Haha)
The Second Chance Casino, though, is also known for another major factor- it's rumored to hold a notorious hacker den in its backrooms. The "Black Rabbits" hacker group work closely with Chance to ensure their casino runs smoothly, and in return, he gives them place to operate and funds their activities. If you slight Chance, or cause trouble in the Casino, you might be finding yourself at the whims of a ruthless group of hackers, or worse; The Black Rabbits' Boss, the Don.
Chance himself isn't really a hacker, however their parents WERE! And Very early into his life, they had him pre-installed with a GUI- though due to his bugged nature, he can't really access or use it. It scrambles their values, meaning he doesn't exactly have the most control over certain aspects of their physical form. Like many other bugged residents, his body unusually combines aspects of the digital and the flesh- in their case, making their body almost like a hologram, an avatar projected into the real world through nearby devices, while still able to touch and physically interact with things around him.
In general he's quite the sweet guy! He gets along with most everyone, and is willing to welcome anyone through his doors and hear them out- even, theoretically, members of rival hacker dens.
