The university bronze gets a facelift this summer thanks to the labor of alum Chad Shores, who now earns his bread as a historic conservationist. Chad has spent the past several days spiffing up the Jane DeDecker installations on campus. "A World to Teach" presented a few challenges-"but at least the Tennessee environment isn't like Florida," Chad said. Apparently in FL the salty air is death to outdoor sculpture.
