"Welcome to Asgard. We have nice nature and mildly insane gods." || Loki & Jane
Loki had to admit, that cage was far better than the house he'd lived in, back at the dreaded exiled planet. He had a decent bed, decent chairs, decent food, decent sanitation and, more important than all that, decent books to read. And the fact that the bracelet was gone only added to it. At least now he could throw a temper tantrum and destroy the insides of the cage, if nothing else. And, he would never admit it out loud, but it was also good to be back home - maybe it wasn't his real one, but it was the only one he still had.
That morning, the prince had been entertained with an ancient record about already extinct animals, when a conversation coming from the exterior of the cage caught his attention. He glanced over his shoulder and saw two Asgardian soldiers escorting a woman he'd never seen before but who, somehow, felt very familiar. He was sure she was a human, judging from her clothing, and he didn't need much longer to line up the pieces of the puzzle. Jane Foster, his older brother's love interest... So that was what she looked like. With a smirk, he thought Thor had a nice taste for partners.
Later on, the same day, he was allowed out of the cage for a couple of hours. Since he was sill recovering from being powerless for more than a half year, which had greatly weakened his body, Frigga and Odin would allow him to not be contained the twenty-four hours of the day, so long as he didn't try to start anything again. Which Loki wouldn't, at least until he was at the peak of his force again. Stretching his arms up with a happy noise, he headed outside; meaning to go for a little walk through his mother's gardens, and wondering if he'd get to meet the human woman from up close.
