Instead of going around fixing time problems he would go around fixing societal issues. Imagine him popping up in front of various dictators and lecturing them on the evils of genocide and oppression.

handing out pamphlets about social justice, all printed in glaring red ink, making legibility frustrating at best and downright infuriating at worst

and by pamphlets i mean encyclopedias; they would all be thick tomes on how to effectively deal with every possible species, conflict, identity...

jane could be his companion because she's more fun than he is
