Ashley walked into the building of the History department with a bright smile on her face. She was wearing a light grey jacket, a baby blue shirt under it and some skinny blue jeans, all combined with some black flats and her black Hermes Birkin bag. Ashley thought it was the perfect outfit to cause a good first impression today: she had seen an advertisement for a teacher's intern in the history department a few weeks ago and, interested as she was in getting as much contacts as possible and as many good references as available, she hadn't even doubted a minute before sending an email to the teacher. He turned out to be Ashley's Multi-cultural Studies teacher and, after some talking through the emails, the had set up an interview for today.
Although her smile covered it well, Ashley was quite nervous inside. She was quite sure she was going to get the internship, but still, there was always the possibility that someone -maybe that girl that was the teacher's pet- would take her place. Trying to shake her head out of those negative thoughts, Ashley walked up to the reception desk and smiled politely at the lady behind it. "Hi, I'm looking for Professor's Jang office." She said, voice bright but not too loud. Once she got her indications, she walked to said office calmly; she had come with more than enough time.
Taking a deep breath, Ashley knocked on the office's door softly, waiting for a few moments before opening the door slowly and peeking inside. "Professor Jang?" She softly said, a bright smile on her face.
