it girl || ashley&&hyeri
Ashley gathered her things in her white satchel and stood up from her seat. She looked around the room as she put on her coat: she had gone for a simple outfit today, yet it had still caused a good reaction on the rest of the members of the fashion club. Well, it was the fashion club for a reason. As everyone around gathered their things, ready to leave now that the meeting had finished, Ashley set her gaze on one of the newest members and determinedly walked up to her.
Hyeri had just started studying at Seongnam and, since the first moment, Ashley had felt the need to take care of her. She didn't exactly know why she felt like that, maybe it was because the younger girl reminded her of herself when she was younger, but she had decided to take care of the younger girl and teach her everything she knew. She had been more than happy when they had encountered each other on the fashion club and Ashley hadn't even lost a minute before she was talking to her the first day. They seemed to have gotten along quite well, and Ashley couldn't be happier about it.
Once she was next to Hyeri she immediately linked their arms together. "Ready for our shopping spree?" She brightly asked, smile on her face as always. They had decided a few days earlier to go shopping together and Ashley couldn't be more excited. She still had to go out with the younger girl just the two of them and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
a helping hand | luhan & ashley
'I need to find it. I need to find it.' Are the words that keep on repeating in the young blond’s mind as his hands continue to push through the bushes, barely minding the scratches anymore. Shaking with want for flames, Luhan tries to steady his breathing without putting a halt to his movements. He knows what could happen if he doesn’t manage to do his usual evening activity. He knows very well what he would end up regretting in the future.
Suddenly, a tap on his shoulder causes the blond to flinch in surprise before glancing over at his side to see no other than Ashley, a classmate of his in World Literature. Of course Luhan could never forget that tantalizing face that always seems to have a smile evident wherever she goes. Does she recognize him though? He highly doubts it. Luhan mostly sits at the back of the class, his existence hardly acknowledged by anyone present in the room.
Being seated at the far back of the room though, he manages to give his classmates a good observation and Ashley is undoubtedly one of them. He knows her to be quite charming with great fondness for fashion. This type of information might not matter much but the blond has also noticed how the girl seems to wear a different pair of shoes everyday and he wonders just how many shoes she owns. She also seems to be pretty sweet, instantly gaining the trust of those around her.
But she can’t fool Luhan. He had once caught sight of her manipulating one of their male classmates into doing a favor for her. If Luhan was as naive as the guy, he would most certainly fall for her manipulative charm too.
Uncertainly rubbing the back of his neck, he fishes out his notebook from his pocket before flipping through the pages. Many people who passed by have already asked him a similar question and he already had the answer readily written on a page. Finally finding it, he then shows it to her.
"I am looking for my zippo lighter. Have you seen it?"
Ashley looks at the boy curiously, waiting for a reply. When he turns around she suddenly remembers who the boy is. They share their Word Literature class, one of Ashely's favourites, and she remembers he always sits at the back. Despite it, Ashley had noticed him, because he noticed everyone in her classes, whether they had talked to her or not. It was her duty as part of the student council and her pleasure as the social butterfly and gossip girl she was. If her memory was right, his name was Luhan and she remembers he never talks, always keeping a notebook with him with which he communicates. However, Ashley remembers reading in his record that he doesn't have any speaking problem, at least not health-wise, and she has always been curious as for why the boy doesn't speak.
She doesn't know if he knows her, probably yes because almost everyone who has shared at least one class with her has seen her raise her hand in class and help the teachers, and because she's a social butterfly. However, the boy is pretty new and he's not the party type, after all, so she's not sure.
Her eyes widen slightly in expectation when she sees him reaching for his notebook, wondering what is he finally going to say. Once he offers it to her, Ashely reads it carefully and nods in understanding. "Ah, no, sorry, I haven't." She says with an apologetic smile. "But maybe I could help you look for it?" She offers with a soft smile. She's not sure the boy is going to accept her help, being as shy as he usually is, but she hopes she does. After all, it's her duty as part of the student council and as the nice sweetheart she is to help those in need.
Without waiting for a response, Ashley starts rummaging through the bushes, not really caring if she gets scars on her hands, something the boy should be quite grateful for given Ashley tendency to avoid dirtying or scratching her skin. "How long have you been searching for it?" She asks as she continues searching, trying to make some small talk between them. She doesn't really know what has overcome her to be so willing to help another person she doesn't even know, but she guess it's the fact that the boy seems so desperate and he's so cute she can't help herself.
crush crush crush || ashley&&woobin
It wasn’t like he hated Ashley; he never hated her. Her presence was always lighting up the room but Alex being Alex, didn’t like an over bubbly personality. Whenever the girl and her family visited, he would just looked at her from afar until well, she approached him herself. “Why? You want to be a teacher’s pet?”, the male looked at her with a raised brow. Woobin didn’t know what was the girl’s reputation in Seongnam but that was the only question that popped up in his head.
He prepared everything for today’s class on his desk and looked at her with a bit of mixed feelings. This girl knew him and his family, would she be offended if he treated her the same way he treated everyone else? Alex knew Ashley wasn’t stupid and she practically seen him doing it for years already. “Class is going to start. We can do the catching up later.”, the professor lifted his chin slightly, motioning the girl to go back to her seat.
Woobin looked down and opened his laptop, connecting the presentation with the projector but feeling a pair of eyes stuck onto him. Sure, it wasn’t anything new ever since he first started teaching here but these gazes weren’t like the usuals. The male looked up and saw Ashley kept looking at him. The talk later would be much more than catching up.
Ashley knew Alex had never been specially fond of her, or anyone for that matter. It wasn't like they didn't have a good relationship, but Alex had always been quite cold with everyone around her, including Ashley of course. Ashley was used to it by now and maybe that was what had attracted her to him the first time they met. She opened her mouth in surprise at her question. "Oh?! How did you know it?" She mockingly said, her lips forming a small smirk. She may be mocking, but it wasn't that far from the truth, actually.
Just like in any other class, Ashley liked to have a good relationship with her teachers, always participating in class and offering to collaborate in whatever was needed. She knew it was the best way to later get information or get out of trouble when she did something that wasn't as right as she thought. Plus, one could never have enough contacts. She pouted slightly at the older boy when he dismissed her. "Already shooing me away, oppa? Didn't you miss me?" She playfully said, enjoying how she could tease him, although she knew that, unlike others, he was well aware that she was just playing with him.
She walked back to her seat a few minutes later, the classmate sitting next to her immediately asking her about the teacher. "Oh, he's a childhood friend of mine." She proudly said, smiling when the girl slightly fangirled about how lucky she was to have such a handsome friend. She turned her head and stared attentively at Alex, not intending to remove her gaze from him during the entire class. She was determined to become her favourite student, no matter how coldly he treated her, and when Ashley set her mind on something, she always got it.
Is This Dating? || Ashley and Kyuhyun
Kyuhyun took a deep breath. He adjusted his jacket for what seemed to be the twentieth time. He didn’t do dates. He didn’t date girls that he met at clubs either. But there was just something about her that made him want to date outside of his leagues. Kyuhyun sighed and took another deep breath. He dated girls that his parents introduced to him, but this was a new thing for him. Kyuhyun ran his hands through his hair and he stretched and headed out. If he didn’t leave, he’d end up being late and that was never a good thing.
He stopped by the flower shop, and bought a bouquet of flowers. His hands were sweating a bit, as he walked along to the cafe where he was meeting her. For some reason, when he had called to set the date, she didn’t want him to pick her up, but Kyuhyun just shrugged it off then. Now that he thought about it, it was weird. Very weird. Making his way to the cafe, he noticed that he was early and he sat down at a table, waiting for her. There was still plenty of time to the movie. He had planned it so that he could grab dinner with her. And just talk.
The gamer found himself zoning out, picturing how the date could go when he heard his name. He looked up and smiled a bit. “Ashley!” He exclaimed, picking up the flowers and standing up. He looked at the flowers. “Um… These are for you!” He stated, shyly handing them over. Kyuhyun may have been 25 but this was his first date technically speaking.
Ashley looked at her reflection on the mirror one last time, turning this way and that to fully see herself. Her outfit consisted of a salmon coloured dress and bag and a white faux fur jacket and heel booties, all of it accompanied with some accessories here and there. It was simple, yet Ashley thought it was really pretty and fitted her well. She had a first date today, something she hadn't had in a while, to be honest. Sure, she had had her fair share of hook ups and one night stands during fraternity parties and whatnot, but, now that she thought about it, she hadn't dated in about two years.
The boy in question was quite older than Ashley herself, but it wasn't something that Ashley really cared about. However, she didn't want her date to find out there was such a big age gap between them so she had decided to meet up directly at the cafe instead of letting him pick her up like he had insisted on doing. They had met at a club a few days earlier and, after some chatting, they had decided to go on a date. She left the sorority house a few minutes later, a soft smile in her face and the tiniest bit of nervousness in her body.
It didn't take her long to arrive at the cafe and she was happy to see the boy was already there. With her best eye smile on her face, she walked up to the table he was sitting at, slightly absent minded. "Hi, Kyuhyun." She said, voice and smile sweet. She blushed slightly when he offered her the flowers, taking them with a shy smile. "Thank you! They're beautiful~" She said, smiling up at him. The flowers really were beautiful and, if this was the beginning of the date, she couldn't wait to see how the rest of the date would go. She sat at the table after, observing the flowers in her hands with a fond smile. "How are you?" She asked with a soft smile, looking back up at Kyuhyun. She had definitely lost experience in dating after so much time.
Now in Technicolour || Suzy&Ashley
The fact that Ashley had actually lived in New York was what made Suzy look up to the girl even more. It was New York. The place tons of people dream about living in. The city that never sleeps, and— how many songs exist mentioning New York? New York was only one of the few things on Suzy’s ‘reasons to be envious of Ashley Choi’ list. The list hadn’t actually existed physically. Even Suzy wasn’t one to write down ten billion things in a list concerning one person.
"Sure. I…" Suzy thought for a second. "Have nothing going on for tonight?" Having a leisurely stroll at the end of the day wouldn’t kill anyone, right? "We could go to Verte." The brunette started to walk. "Or maybe somewhere in the shopping centre?" Frankly, Suzy had always thought that there were many strange words in the English vocabulary. ‘Mall’ was one of those words. Possibly it had been because she read too many old English novels, to a point where she wasn’t used to such words that had recently been added into the English dictionary and slang. Recent being around the 1900s. Korean seemed simpler.
Suzy didn’t want to say much. Of course, she could start questioning the girl that had decided to accompany Suzy about New York and life, but she had probably bored many people with her pointless blateration. “I’ve not been doing much with my life. I find myself getting really excited at homework that doesn’t involve writing, if that explains anything.” The girl cleared her throat, in order to not say something boring. Suzy smiled instead. “How was your life?”
Ashley's little pout turned into a hundred watts smile when she received a positive answer. "Great!" She exclaimed, linking their arms together again and walking away. As she listened to the other girl propose places to visit, she directed them both towards her car, a beautiful black Audi TT parked right outside the building. "Shopping centre sounds awesome." She replied, a new plan starting to form on her mind. She, of course, couldn't let someone she was friends with dress as awfully as Suzy was, and, being the caring person she was, she decided right then and there that she was going to give her friend a complete makeover, starting with her closet.
Once they got to the car, she rummaged through her bag for her keys a few minutes before finally finding them and opening the car. She got in with a wide smile and waited for Suzy to do the same. Once inside the car, she replied to her. "Oh, but that's so awful~" She exclaimed, looking pityingly at her friend. "Well, from now on, you're going to start doing much more things with your life, just leave it up to me." She said, nodding determinedly. Even if Suzy didn't really like going out or meeting people, Ashley could not let her ruin her social life like that. It was a crime that Ashley was most definitely not going to permit.
She started the car and drove out of the parking lot, immediately directing themselves to the nearby mall. It wasn't that far, so they could have walked there, but Ashley expected them to return with a ton of shopping bags and she was not going to carry them all afternoon. "My life was pretty good, I can't complain." She said as she drove, a soft smile on her face. "I am getting an internship in the History department, and I might stop being single sometime soon." She continued with a small smirk on her lips. Ashley wasn't the type to air her private life to anyone that passed, but she was just the tiniest bit too excited for the promising date she had in a few days.
knock on wood || ashley&&dongwoo
Dongwoo needed an intern. He thought it was a lovely idea proposed to him by a co-worker after watching him stumble in with a huge stack of papers and dark circles as big as a panda’s. He had to admit that he was a mess with the amount of work he had but an intern would definitely make life easier and test the skills of a student. He also thought it would be foolish for someone to turn down the chance to get this internship on their future job applications.
Luckily, one of his students, Ashley took the initiative to email her and set up and interview. He always enjoyed how responsive she was in class and thought she was a top choice as his intern. He was grading papers in his office, frustrated with some student’s ignorance and stupid answers, when she walked in. Dongwoo simply smiled at the girl and motioned to the chair in front of him for the interview.
"Ashley! It’s lovely to see you. Thank you for coming. I must say that I’m glad you took the chance to sign up for this internship. I’m really going to need your help with some things I have planned but I have a few questions to ask to make sure you’re right for the job, ok?" He said, standing up to shake her hand politely and sitting back down. "First thing’s first. How are you?" The elder man asked, trying to keep the interview casual.
Ashley smiled widely at the professor's reaction and entered the room. She stood straight in the middle of the room, a bit nervous still, and only walked up to him when he stood up. She shook her hand and sat primly on one of the chairs in the room. "Of course, I understand." She said, smile still on her face. She hoped her nervousness didn't show through her constant smiling, but after all, she always had a smile on her face so it wasn't that strange.
"I'm good, eager to start working." She said, hoping her want for the job showed clearly in her words and actions. "How about you, professor Jang?" She added a few moments later, polite as always and addressing him formally. She knew some professors preferred that their students treated them informally, but she also knew that it was better to treat them formally and have them request informal speech than the other way around. Respect was something that always impressed people, specially older people.
As she waited for the questions to come, Ashley sightly pressed down her shirt and jacket, making sure everything was perfect in her. It was a shame she couldn't take out a mirror to check her make up and hair, but she imagined it to be okay. She looked at the teacher expectantly, a soft smile on her face, eager to get through the interview and being told she had gotten the internship.
Poker Face || Ashley & Miko
Even before she actually set foot on campus she had heard the horrible news, “There can only be one secretary, therefore I am very sorry to inform you that we already have an existing secretary for the student council” As soon as Miko heard she swore that she would get that spot, even hearing the words that she wouldn’t be secretary at this university sent tears rolling down her eyes. She was secretary at their former university, so why not this one?
Of course she acted slightly like a spoiled brat, but who wouldn’t if they had just heard that they were stripped of what felt like their duty as a student. Maybe she was taking it too seriously for most people, but to her, it meant everything. She had to excel in everything, but if she wasn’t going to be secretary she was going to be the next best thing; treasurer. So as she signed up for treasure she wished the best to her new enemy to be. She was going to make her life a living hell until she gave up that spot.
But it had already been a few days, and with a meeting coming up shortly, it wasn’t a surprise that she dressed up for the occasion, clad in her own version of battle armor but with a twist of Gucci meets Prada. If she was going to war, she was going to die with a designer label clutched within her grasp. So there she was strutting in pumps looking like the goddess she was, when she walked into the meeting room. Of course she turned heads, but with a slight bow to her new sworn enemy, Miko spoke loud and clear towards her, “I’m the new treasurer Miko Bai,” and to her own surprise she smiled, not wanting to, but somehow instinctually. Hiding her mistake she smiled and bowed to the others, hopefully not sending up any red flags.
Ashley had taken up on the secretary role of the student council the moment she had stepped foot on Seongnam. She had experience, having been vice-president during high school and with her mother being the president of the parents association, and she loved the power that gave her. Plus, in a university as prestigious as Seongnam, being part of the student council would put her very high on rankings for a future job, even if she didn't really need one.
Today, as every Friday, they were having a council meeting and Ashley was happy about it: apparently, the treasurer spot had finally been filled and Ashley couldn't wait to meet the new member. Of course, with her contacts, she had soon found out it was a transfer student, a girl with a twin, named Miko, but she hadn't met her personally yet. She walked towards the room they were meeting in, high heels clicking loudly on the hall tiles. Her outfit, as always, denoted her personality: a bright pink A-line dress, Louboutin pumps and her beloved pink Lady Dior bag. She entered the room a few minutes later, some members of the council already there. It was early, though, and Ashley promptly took her seat, a smile plastered on her face as always.
A few minutes later, the door opened again to let a pretty girl enter. It was clear she was the new girl, the treasurer, as the rest of the council was already in the room. Ashley directed her her best smile, one that turned slightly amused when she noticed how she immediately was drawn to Ashley. "Nice to meet you, Miko, I'm Ashley Choi and it's my pleasure to welcome you to our student council." She said with her characteristic eye smile, walking up to the girl and linking their arms together. She directed the girl towards one of the seats, the one right next to hers, and made them both sit. "Have you been in a student council before?" She asked, trying to make some conversation between them. Of course she had read the girl records previously, perks of being close to the university secretary, and knew she had indeed been the secretary at her previous university, but she still wanted to see how the other would react.
guiding light || ashley&&qri
The strawberry blonde haired woman let a soft sigh scape through her lips as she made her way towards the Gamma sorority, the rummor about the helloween party had just spreed through the campus like a virus, a rather happy one. And knowing her dear dongsaeng, Tiffany not only would be helping to plan the party but would find a way to get Jihyun a costume even if the professor wasn’t quite sure about attending. Not that she actually had a choice, Qri was awere about the fact she would be dragged even if it’s by her hair. All of the young students she was close of seemed to somewhat be the life of the parties and she would need to be there to keep them from doing something they would regret later.
Though the main rason to why she had skipped her way towards the Greek house was the fact she would need to try on Tiffany’s costumes idea, the professor could use the time off between now and the next period to have a chitchat moment with lots of coffee. With the usual sweet smile dancing across her reddish lips Jihyun pressed the doorbell in order to playfully create a random melody, just like she always did as in order to let the girls know it was her outside.
However, an eyebrow were delicate rose when the new yet familliar face showed up at the doorstep. The older tilted her head, trying her hardest to figure out why did the pretty brunette standing in front of her rang a bell somehow. “Hello there, are you the new sister?” The petite woman asked. “Indeed, is Tiffany home? I’m sorry to bother you.” The older politely apologized, mentally rebucking herself for forgetting to even introduce herself, that was surely not the always polite Qri. “Welcome to the Seongnam! You can call me Qri, everyone does.”
Tilting her head to the side in an almost childish manner, the strawberry blonde haired woman allowed her mind to storm a way to cease her curiosity in how the younger seemed so fammiliar to her. Qri was known for having a great memory and she surely hoped it wouldn’t fail on her this time: analyzing the long chocolate colored hair, the sweet smile and the friendly twinkle her orbs had and decreasing her height and age a few years back, Jihyun had to blink a few times before allowing a bright smile to light up her features. “Ashley!” The older laughed softly, at the positive recognition “I don’t see you in ages! What are you doing here?!” Qri laughed softly, wrapping her arms around the younger girl in a tight heart-warming hug. She definitly missed the younger one.
Ashley stared at the woman in front of her as she kept wondering who she was and why was she so familiar to her. She knew she had seen her before, she just didn't know where, and that fact just served to make her squeeze her brain even more in search of a response. As much as she thought about it, she just got even more confused, associating the face with names she knew weren't right. She huffed inwardly at her bad memory, there was nothing she hated more than not remembering people, being as she was such a social butterfly.
She smiled widely and nodded at the other's questions. "I am, just joined a few weeks ago." She cheerfully said. "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm the only one home now." She offered her an apologetic smile, and she hoped she wouldn't leave just because of that. She was too intrigued as to why the other seemed so, so familiar. "Ah, thank you! Nice to meet you Qri, I'm Ashley." She replied with a small bow of her head. One would think knowing the name would finally make Ashley remember but alas, it wasn't the case today.
When she raised her head again a moments later, the other's face coming back into view, she had an instant revelation. Of course that face was familiar! She had seen it so many times before, but it had been quite a long time since that. Memories of seeing that face in glossy paper and admiring the older girl came back to her as she looked at Qri.
She eagerly corresponded to the other's effusive hug, the feeling seeming to be the same as hers. "Oh my god, I know! Can you believe I didn't recognize you at first? That shows it has been too much time." She replied, tone cheerful as always, and followed it by a soft giggle. "I'm studying here!" She added, smiling widely at the other. "How about you? The last thing I knew you were a quite famous model." She continued, eager to know.
"Come in, we definitely need to catch up!" She said a few minutes later, guiding Qri into the sorority and towards the big living room, seating them both on one of the big sofas in the room.
a helping hand | luhan & ashley
Overwhelmed by nothing but uneasiness and panic, a nineteen-year old boy with pale blond hair gritted his teeth out of apprehension at the possible fact that he had dropped his most treasured possession; his zippo lighter. It was four in the afternoon when he had realized that it was no longer present inside the pocket of his jacket and the thought of not burning something tonight brought him nothing but dread.
A hiss of curse slipped between his lips as his already clammy hands pushed through the bushes, wincing now and then whenever his hands encountered a thorn. He needed his lighter. He desperately needed it. The familiar feeling of the metal giving a cold touch against his fingers and the sound of the fire being flicked on… He needed it badly.
A number of students had already offered help but he had simply shooed them away as politely as he could, telling them that such brilliantly talented students like them mustn’t give their time of day to someone who’s immensely pathetic and careless. However, at this point where he could be seen going about the school garden, he was most definitely desperate for a helping hand.
Ashley walked calmly out of the main building. She walked quite fast as she directed her steps to her sorority. To be truthful, she wasn't really eager to go back home yet. She knew Minah would be there and she just wasn't in the mood to cope with her now. She had just finished the Student Council weekly meeting, and she hadn't left it too happy: apparently, the university couldn't afford a remodeling of the main cafeteria, but Ashley just didn't believe it. True, they had been hiring a lot of new staff lately, but still.
She walked with firm steps around the building, deciding to go to the coffee shop and see if she could calm her nerves with some talking and green tea. However, an odd sight made her stop dead in her tracks. She was just next to the school garden and she saw a rather peculiar boy there, rummaging through the plants as if his life depended on it. Ashley frowned slightly at it before walking towards said boy. She crouched next to him and waited for a few moments to see if she could catch his attention. Seeing it was futile, the boy too engaged in looking for whatever it was that he seemed to have lost, Ashley sighed deeply.
She plastered her best eye smile on her face and tapped the boy's shoulder, finally getting his attention. "Hey there." She cheerily said. "Have you lost something? Do you need help?" She added a few moments later, trying to sound as nice as possible.

knock on wood || ashley&&dongwoo
Ashley walked into the building of the History department with a bright smile on her face. She was wearing a light grey jacket, a baby blue shirt under it and some skinny blue jeans, all combined with some black flats and her black Hermes Birkin bag. Ashley thought it was the perfect outfit to cause a good first impression today: she had seen an advertisement for a teacher's intern in the history department a few weeks ago and, interested as she was in getting as much contacts as possible and as many good references as available, she hadn't even doubted a minute before sending an email to the teacher. He turned out to be Ashley's Multi-cultural Studies teacher and, after some talking through the emails, the had set up an interview for today.
Although her smile covered it well, Ashley was quite nervous inside. She was quite sure she was going to get the internship, but still, there was always the possibility that someone -maybe that girl that was the teacher's pet- would take her place. Trying to shake her head out of those negative thoughts, Ashley walked up to the reception desk and smiled politely at the lady behind it. "Hi, I'm looking for Professor's Jang office." She said, voice bright but not too loud. Once she got her indications, she walked to said office calmly; she had come with more than enough time.
Taking a deep breath, Ashley knocked on the office's door softly, waiting for a few moments before opening the door slowly and peeking inside. "Professor Jang?" She softly said, a bright smile on her face.
fashions fade, style is eternal || ashley&&kevin
Ashley parked her car, a beautiful black Audi TT, right next to the mall entrance. All she had had to do was smile brightly to the security guard by the entrance of the parking and when she arrived, the place was empty and waiting for her. Turning off the car's engine, she walked out of the car gracefully. As she walked into the big hall of the Rising East Mall, she could feel passersby eyes on her. Probably her bright pink Miss Dior bag and stockings, combined with her baby blue short dress and her Miu Miu white platform sandals were what caused the attention. Ashley didn't mind though, she quite enjoyed it actually.
As she walked through the crowds, she wondered where to go first. She had gone on a shopping spree -alone, because Suzy had something to do today and Ashley hadn't been able to drag her- that evening to buy something for the upcoming Halloween party her sorority was hosting. She still wasn't sure what to dress up as, but she was thinking about a bunny. With that idea on mind, she walked to American Eagle Outfitters, hoping to find some kind of white dress that would somehow do as a bunny costume.
She was on her way there when someone caught her attention. Frowning slightly, she stopped on her tracks and turned around. Wasn't that guy from the Fashion Club? Determined now, Ashley walked to the boy and softly poked his shoulder. "Hi, you're Kevin, right?" She said with a bright smile once he turned around. "I'm Ashley, we're together in the Fashion Club."
Ashley in Wonderland
Now in Technicolour || Suzy&Ashley
"Yeah, it’s me?" Suzy glanced around anxiously. Oh god, people are staring. A laugh escaped her lips. Why are they staring? "Hi! Ashley, it’s you!" Don’t worry, they are staring at Ashley Choi, not Bae Su Ji. "I— how’ve you been?" Bae Suzy has just happened to be here, odds are that they don’t even know your name. Suzy forced a smile. “Wait— I guess you’ve been well, like, it looks like you’ve been doing well.” Another nervous laugh.
The musician had started fumbling with her bag strap— something she had always found herself doing in such a situation. She felt so small next to a girl like Ashley. If Seongnam had a food chain, there would be girls like Ashley, proudly smiling at the top, and at the bottom would be a Bae Suzy, hidden behind books and music, talking about pointless things like— triangles, Who talks about triangles?
There was this extremely outgoing, brightly shining girl, next to a horribly dull and boring one. Suzy had taken to staring at the floor, trying to ignore the stares from people. People. Taking in a shaking breath, the horribly, dull, boring girl who talks about triangles finally spoke. “I’m not wasting your time, am I?”
A bright smile was permanently plastered on Ashley's face the whole time. She laughed loudly, thankful that the girl had remembered her; she had changed quite a lot during these last years, and she noticed Suzy had too. She had undoubtedly gotten taller, her chubby cheeks had completely disappeared and, all in all, Ashley concluded she had become quite a beautiful young girl. However, when Ashley looked down at her clothes, she couldn't help but cringe internally at them. She knew Suzy had never been a fashion icon, but Ashley could not let someone she knew since childhood dress like that.
"I've been great!" She brightly answered. "I miss New York so much, but I really like it here." She continued. She noticed people around them staring at them slightly and she could see the girl in front of her literally become smaller under their glances. She knew that Suzy had never been comfortable among crowds, unlike Ashley, and, taking some pity on her, she linked their arms together and started walking away, leading the other girl towards the outside of the building.
"Of course not!" She said, bright smile on her face to try and cheer up the other girl. "Hey, I have an idea!" She suddenly said, stopping dead on her tracks and turning around to face Suzy. "How about we go take a walk somewhere and eat something and we catch up on each other?" She proposed with a bright smile. "It's been ages since we last saw each other, and I really want to know what you've been up to all this time!" She added a moment later, adding a pout to the proposal for extra measure. She knew Suzy wasn't the sociable type, but she hoped she would agree to her little plan.

His footsteps seemed dragged and it was definitely dragged. The professor narrowed his eyes so his sight could focus but there was nothing he could do about it. Alex pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index fingers, cursing his students in World History for the stupid essays that they probably copy and pasted from the internet. Why would all the students in his class had the same topic? Or the same words? ‘Daft.’, the male cursed in his mind as he remembered marking all the papers with a big red ‘F’.
Now, he had to teach morning classes. Usually it wouldn’t be a big deal to him but because of the rough night, it was a big deal. Woobin walked into the class room and greeted by a sight of already full seats. Some of the students chirped in their ‘morning’ greetings but brushed off by the professor as he settled down his belongings on the desk. The buzzing of the students’ conversations was still heard until from the corner of his eyes, Alexander spotted one of them walked up to his desk.
When he looked up, all he could think about how the hell the girl could be here. “What are you doing here?”, the professor cocked his brow and flinched mentally when she called him with oppa. They knew each other back then and they always speak in English - and today wouldn’t be different. “Bored of New York?”
Ashley smiled from side to side as she looked at Alexander in front of her. They were long time family friends, and, even if she now refused to admit it, she had had a pretty big crush on the older boy when she was younger. She couldn't help it though, he was really handsome and cool, always with that distant attitude. Now she had, thankfully, grown out of it, but she still liked keeping him around. Plus, he was a teacher, so it was the perfect occasion to make a good impression on the teaching staff.
She smiled even more if possible when the other spoke in English: she had kind of missed the language. And she liked the fact that most people couldn't understand them in that language. "I'm studying here of course~" She cheerfully said, "Isn't it great, you being my teacher?" She added a few seconds later. She didn't really know how that would go, though: would he be stricter with her because he knew her? Or just the complete opposite? Ashley really hoped for the latter.
"Of course not!" She exclaimed, an offended mock expression on her face. "I would never miss the city that gave me a name, I so want to go back there soon." She added with a soft pout. "How about you, oppa? How did you get to teach here?" She asked a few seconds later, a soft smile on her face. It had been long since they had last seen each other, about three years maybe, and the last Ashley had heard of Alexander was that he was living in the UK.
