2 .Did you reread anything? What?
yess I reread The Persian Boy by Mary Renault which I hadn't read in a long time and didn't remember a lot of so in a way it was kind of like reading it for the first time again. Very good.
I reread Lolita by Nabokov and reading it a second time knowing everything that happens + having annotations for all the cultural and literary references was a really good reading experience that helped me understand the book better. Truly an incredible and deeply misunderstood work.
I also reread Dark Places by Gillian Flynn which is criminally underrated, the new miniseries can't come fast enough, I am always wondering what the publishing landscape would look like if every mystery writer since the 2010s had chosen Dark Places to write knockoffs of instead of Gone Girl.
