Let me tell you something. Covering up in layers, especially during the summer isn’t always easy. But when you constantly remind yourself who you do it for it’ll become easier. Once you realize Allah is the only one that we have to please and that He is the one who is in control of our afterlife, it’ll become easier. My favorite saying when I think it’s super hot outside is “It’s hot out, but the hell fire is hotter”. If it’s too hot out, avoid being out as much as possible. I know I’d never want not covering to be a means for me going to the fire because all forms of disobedience is deserving of Allah’s punishment. And I know that everyone doesn’t react well to fear but need to hear the positive which is jannah. Just imagine your hair flowing in the wind and you skin being kissed by the sun. The male gaze isn’t even a thing. Imagine being being able to smell the fragrance of jannah. Having a house which beneath rivers flow. 😭😭🥺 Just know you’re putting that at risk with any form of disobedience, including your hijab. May Allah make covering properly for his sake easy for us all, may we all put in the extra effort to do better in all aspects of worship and may we be rewarded jannah for our obedience and sacrifices.
