December was 🤸♀️insaaane🤸♀️ with so much writing. ICYMI, I completed FICMAS 2025 - 29 stories totalling 34k words in 35 days across multiple fandoms and characters. My love language is totally acts of service, so it was the best feeling ever to be able to gift a little something to so many of my gorgeous friends. Just... next time.... if I say 'we go bigger, we go harder' please remind me that by the end I was a shell of a woman driven by pure insanity to get it finished 😂 Honestly, I don't know what possessed me to take that on during the busiest month of the whole year 🫣
I've had a couple of days off making plans and getting organised, so what's in store for January?
Strategic Interests will be completed this month - my aim is for next week for Chapter 9, and I'm still deciding if that will be the last one (I think it will be). If you start it now, you'll be caught up just in time for the finale 😉
Late Night Love will return at long last! I know, I know I did the worst thing ever by hooking you in and then left you waiting, I'm so, so sorry - life completely took over. There are two chapters to go and both will be done this month. (look at me, holding myself accountable!)
The Reading Rooms will also return this month! I've been the most awful reader lately, my friends have written so many wonderful things and I just haven't had a chance to dive in. I'm going to make up for that, and make sure I'm taking some time to stop and read as well as write.
I'll be working on the first prompt for the new event Star and Shield Monthly ( @star-and-shield-monthly )
I might (I HAVE to) see if I can squeeze in a little something with Steve Harrington... I've fallen in and I can't don't want to get out 😆
I'll also be working on the posting schedule and plans for my own Lovebomb Bang event! 8 writers have been paired up with artists to collaborate on stories and the accompanying artwork - be that moodboards, playlists... anything at all!
The Lovebomb Bang is part of my big (gulp) birthday celebrations - but it's not the only thing! In February, you'll hear more about some fun ways we can share some 💘love!💘
In the meantime, my family are doing 40 gifts for 40 days in the lead-up, they started Day 1 on a very strong note - yes, that is a little cardboard cutout of Sebastian Stan for my desk 😭 Isn't he cute?! (Day 2 was socks, if you were interested!)
She wanted to adopt one for a long time, but was unable to, and now because of some unfortunate circumstances with his previous owner this guy lives with her, and he is a delight! ❤️ So calm, and fluffy, and playful, and lets me pet him readily! ❤️
