→ Amaterasu was the goddess of the sun & the universe. She became the ruler of the heavens and the sun, and labelled her brother Tskuyomi an evil god after he killed another goddess out of digust.

→ Inari Okami was the kami of foxes, fertility, rice, tea and sake, agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldy success. In earlier Japan, Inari was the patron of merchants and swordsmiths. Represented as male, female, androgyous, Inari is sometimes seen as a collective of three or five indivdiual kami.

→ Katgutsuchi was the god of fire. During his birth, his fire caused the death of his mother Izanami, and grieving, his father, Izanagi, beheaded Katgutsuchi and cut his body into eight pieces, which became eight volancoes.
