hey bundi, hope ur doing well. guess now's a good time as any to remind ppl that same as trump, same as boris johnson, same as le pen (but more importantly, macron), and same as - in what affected you and ur fellow countrymen - scomo, most politicians worldwide are in way or another corrupt, and worryingly, varying from right-wing to far-right fascism. shinzo abe wasn't an exception, his connection w/ nippon kaigi + the promotion of their ideas whilst pm is well documented. so good riddance :/

Oh was he? Yikes, didn't know that. I knew nothing about him except his name, tbh. My general knowledge of the Japanese political situation is quite limited. AU and US is what I'm the most across, then UK in a general sense, then I'm kinda conceptually, abstractly across France, Germany, Ireland, but other countries, I'd say my political knowledgeof their current goings is zero-to-little.

But ugh, the rise of right-wing conservative politicians across the globe has been. a fucking nightmare. And the universal corruption is staggering. The number of times I've heard someone say "thank goodness that kind of thing wouldn't happen here," about something in the news in a foreign country that is, in fact, literally also happening here is... far too many times to count.
