sometimes i think i cant love special ghoul any more than i already do but then i remember he’s a self-identified feminist and wrote an album about the demonization of female sexuality throughout history and the whole band is just so genuinely female-friendly which you never EVER see in metal/rock and then i think about the Year Zero video and how shocked i was when i first saw it, not bc of The Dick but because of how fucking body-positive and empowering it is and i had never seen something like that in a metal video before (and still haven’t). and that’s just the start of it??? i love special ghoul and ghost so much
