You’ve had more bad luck and suffering in the past few months than most people get in a lifetime, and somehow you’ve managed to pull your way through all of it in one piece and inexplicably have the desire to continue with your life. For that, I envy and admire you. I’ve had a rough few months too - nobody has accused me of murder, or tried to kill me, and I will never be able to compare my experiences to yours, but you can probably understand the loneliness, sadness and anger that’s been plaguing me all year. I wish I was tough like you, thick-skinned enough to not let other people hurt me, smart enough to survive in a world that I don’t really want to be in. You make wanting to live seem effortless. Thank you for not dying. As long as you’re alive, I have one more little reason to carry on, one more thing to care about, to look forward to, to invest in. Every time I see you’re still okay (in relative terms) I make a mental note; if Murphy can make it, so can I. So please, carry on making it. Survive so I have something to care about. If anyone is going to make it through, it’s you, and if you can make it through the literal end of the world then I have no excuse at all for not making it through the end of term, the end of my degree, and the rest of my life. You are indestructible, and I still need time to learn how to be like you.

GUESS WHAT I got my tattoo last Wednesday! Honestly I was never expecting my dream to come true but Misha actually took his time to read my note and writing down those words for me. He even recorded a video message and made sure I’d get the original paper complete with his autograph ‘for authenticity’.
