Jonah Ray -- I meet Jonah after his set and tell him he’s my favorite Nerdist sister-wife. He laughs.
Tim & Eric Power Hour -- Surprisingly insightful, Tim and Eric guide us through a retrospective of their work. I appreciate how much time and effort went into developing their comedy brand, like that episode of Bedtime Stories where they eat soiled baby diapers.

Sarah Silverman -- This is a conversation, not a stand-up set. When she opens up about Garry Shandling, she speaks with a softness that I’ve never seen from her. After all, my favorite Sarah Silverman joke is: “When God gives you AIDS (and, yes, God does give you AIDS) make lemon-AIDS!”
Maria Bamford -- On the nonchalance of people in long-term relationships: “I’m sorry if you’re bored with your MIRACLE.”
Brody Stevens -- Brody talks to me for FIVE minutes. I let him know he’s the middle school P.E. teacher I always wanted. He smiles real big.
This weekend is the nail in the coffin for my time with E-N. Not a bad guy, but a bad match for me. He didn’t understand why I wanted to have Domino’s delivered to a comedy festival and, worst of all, he couldn’t finish his tall can of Tecate.
On the upside, I buy one of my all-time favorite enamel pins. It’s a pin-up style bikini babe with a bird-head, barfing a rainbow.
