Ray hold onto the camera he found for a while, rubbing ifs finger to every details the camera has, sitting on the bottom bed. His eyes doesn't seem to be looking anywhere. He seems to be too deep in his thoughts.
Soft knocks on the door could be heard, before it creaks open.
"(Hey, Ray? you uh, been away for quite a while now, you good man?)"
He snapped out of his mind at the sound. "[Ah, Juno. Yes, I'm fine-]" He looked down at the camera he's holding, lifting it. "[I found your camera.]"
"(Yea I don't think I'll need the camera anymore,)"
"[Oh-]"
"(But I know you used it as an excuse to leave.)" Juno closed the door behind them as they walked towards Ray, taking a seat beside him, but keeping his distance.
"[What, are you going to male fun of it, saying that I'm 'allergic to socializing'?]"
"(Pffft— whaaat?)" He paused, that would be funny, but that is not the reason why he came here. "(Nahh, I just wanna check on ya. Can't I check how my roommate is doing?)"
Ray sighed. "[Of course, you can.]" He lingers his thumb on the camera unconsciously. Juno seemed to have noticed it.
Juno thinks, considering what he was about to say, and decided to proceed, "(Look, I know you're a guy who likes to be straight forward, so I'mma do that. I know you used the camera to excuse yourself, right?)"
Ray looked at his friend for a moment, before nodding. "[I suppose, there was something that bugs me. And I need some time to think... What was the cause of it.]"
"(Was it Cosmo?)"
His eyes widened at the accusation, his head snapped to look at Juno in disbelief, "[Cosmo?? No, no, he did nothing wrong.]" He huffed. How could they accused Cosmo to be the cause of it? Cosmo never did anything wrong, not to Ray.
"(Oh, no no, that's not what I meant!-)" he waved his arms to make a point, being his usual expressive self with his hands, "(What I meant was—)" they took a deep breath. Can't believe he's about to talk about this to him.
"(I've been noticing a lot of things about you. And the conclusion I got from it was that you had some sort of a liking towards Cosmo.)" He dropped his silly and playful mannerism from his voice, letting the other know that he wasn't playing around.
Juno's words somehow hits different, at least... After getting confronted by Cosmo the other day.
Normally, he would dismiss it, stating the obvious that it only makes sense to like your own friend, but, "[... What makes you have that as a conclusion?]"
"(Heh, I mean, you seems to tolerate everything he does most of the time, the way you would smile around him at times—which is weird when you barely smiles, and I maaaay or may have read your journal... And the way you described makes it pretty obvious-)"
"[Ah, yes, I almost forgot about you invading my privacy.]"
"(Heh, yeah, sorry about that-)"
Ray sighed. Was that it? Was that the reason he was feeling all weird for the past two days? He decided to cut his train of thoughts.
"[...But that doesn't make any sense! You suggested that it might be a "liking" towards the romantic section, but people often described those feelings as being nice!-]" He threw his free hand in frustration, "[if that was it, why has it been bothering—]"
"(Because you're jealous.)" Juno's eyes slightly widened, as if he has just realized it himself, before he focused his vision to look at Ray.
...
Is this how Jealousy feels like? The type of feeling people often described as something awful, something hurtful? He never felt this bothered before, even when he knew Cosmo had other friends outside of him. That fact never bothered him.
"(Look... I know you don't like- or choose to not meddle with emotional stuff because you can't understand them. You're pretty cold, sure, but I know you can still feel them.)" He scooted closer, placing their hand on Ray's shoulder.
"[... I might need a moment to think about it.]"
Juno nodded. "(Take your time, man.)" He got up from the bed, giving Ray light pats on the shoulder. "(I'll head back out, let me know when I can use my bed again)" He said, half jokingly as he glances as his bed Ray was sitting on, before walking away, out of the room.
hey so. what did you think of. cosmo's.....admission
still think anything of it? . of. that possibility?
[Ah- are you referring to what he said to me the other day?]
[If that was the case. I suppose... It kind of hurts to hear. I may not know how does it work, but someone once told me that when anyone ever makes you feel bad, they hurts you, intentionally or not.]
[It's weird to know and think that he was expecting from me that I don't... Understand. At least, not yet, hopefully.]
{*he quietly chucked* You even have the same thought process as him-}

{I think Ray may want some time for himself, for now. *he looks around the area, trying to find something.* How about we eat? Heard you made us something for late-lunch dinner!}
{*they crawls into the fort and sits right next to Cyrus* Seems like you got yourself a comfy spot here, huh? *he looks around on the work and the star light projection*}
[*he raised an eyebrow* Uh, of course? He's a dear friend of mine. I admire him.]

[Well, he's a unique guy to be friends with, someone I did not expect would stay around for this long. I suppose I... have a greater respect and appreciation for him than the average respect I have for others as fellow human being. I— *he stopped himself, as he felt something... 'Off and uncomfortable' within him*]
⧼I mean... When did Cosmo actually fell for Cyrus? He's only been aware of his existence for like, two days basically-⧽
(Well, maybe all of those time before that would be where they likes him!)
⧼But wouldn't that mean he's been falling for Ray instead?⧽
(But I thought we've established it that he hasn't been Ray ever since the whole headphone thing?)
⧼I know that, but he—⧽
*they both stopped talking, shutting their mouths when they hear knocking on the door, the front door alongside doorbells.*
(Uh, are they back already?)
⧼You know they got the front door key for them not to knock, right?⧽
(Hmm, Maybe they lost it?)
*another knocking could be heard*
⧼... Ray's not answering the door- so he must be in the bathroom or the music room-⧽
(I'll go get it! *he ran out of the room*)
⧼*she sighed, following behind Juno*⧽
(*he went to the front door, with Alan trailing behind them. The bell rang once again. They began to open it slightly to see who has been knocking on their door, to see—*)
(Louis!?)
⦅mm? Oh, hi there... You— *he got his arm leaning against the wall beside the door* is uh, Alan's home— is- is he-..⦆
⧼Uhm- *she looked out when Juno fully opened the door* what are you doing all the way here—⧽
⦅hm-? *he looked up, blinks a couple of times before realizing who it was* oh- Alll! My buddy Al! *he tried to stood still, before hugging Alan unprompted, patting his back* heyyy theree..⦆
(Gee- he seemed drunk as fuuuck-)
⦅Might be might be not.. Who cares-⦆
⧼Uhm, well- It's nice to see you, Lou- *he pats Louis' back awkwardly in return* I uh- don't know why did you drove yourself for an hour to get here— but let's just get you to sit down first-⧽
(Yeaah, good idea— looks like he's about to pass out as well-)
