Unlike other royals, Jasmine quite enjoyed parties. She wasn’t picky, either, another astonishing break of character for the usual conscientious princess. Rarely did she find herself standing in a corner with a dulled and bored demeanor. 

This Arabian princess was always front and center, dancing with the music whilst simultaneously creating her own with the jingling bangles lined up her arms.

With the friendly kingdoms visiting her palace, the princess pulled a guest onto the dance floor. “Isn’t this song just amazing? It’s my favorite!” She laughed, gesturing to the other to dance with her.

"No, you must be hearing things." She couldn't fathom why the barbarian would think a princess such as herself would have anything to say to him. The vikings had some nerve to attack her traveling ship and take the princess. For ransom or pure enjoyment, she couldn’t deduce the intentions they held.

“This view is amazing!” She leaned over the sleek balcony that loomed over the bustling city below. “I can see everything...” her voice trailed as almond eyes glazed over the all the life; a man jogging over here, a dog chasing some pigeons over there, and--what’s going on over there? 

She tugged Peter’s sleeve with one hand, and with the other her slender fingers pointed into the distance. “I think someone is in trouble...do you see?” She wondered with his troubled vision if he could manage to see the commotion, but it looked as if someone needed help...

There was some secret meeting happening in the palace that Jasmine wasn’t invited to. Can you believe it? Does the title Princess mean nothing these days? She sat in her garden, hoping the breeze and the peaceful greenery would calm the anger in her stomach.

And then, from the corner of her vision, a stranger approached. She refused in all her grace to stand and instead remained on the cool marble bench.

“If you’re lost, don’t expect me to help you find your way.”
