i read the farseer trilogy and got too invested so they Wrecked me and now when i think about them i get too sad......... does Fitz ever get to have anything good in his life? if so i may keep reading

YES! He does!

I literally felt the same way when i finished assassins quest but i think its definitely worth it, it isnt pain for the same of pain. I like to think of the next fitz trilogy as the "fitz learns that he is loved" trilogy because it basically revolves around him healing from his past and getting better! Theres obviously problems but i think its a very healing experience (to me it was hehe)

The next trilogy in the series (liveship traders) isnt fitz focused tho which i think its good, its like a breather after all that happened :) i highly recommend it, but if you want to skip ahead to the fitz books you probably wont be too lost

batgirl v1 my beloved... probably my fav comic of all time. for X-Men i started with New X-Men (from the early 2000s or whatever) but people have mixed feelings about that one. i think the new52 Batman and Robin is really good but also i haven't read it in like 7 years... but there's also all the obvious ones. if you need a dick grayson rec list i could probably get you like 500 by tomorrow morning haha
