Bella Vita - A Surfer's Journey Through Italy, by Jason Baffa

We are big fans of FvF guest and filmmaker Jason Baffa and his latest project, Bella Vita. This new full length 35mm surf film was released in September 2013.

The inspiration for the film, starring chronicle surfer, environmentalist and artist, Chris Del Moro, came from the realization of a thriving Italian surf scene.

Both from Italian-born-fathers, Chris and Jason spent three months traveling the Italian country-side not only in search of surf but also on a quest to re-connect with their Italian heritage.

Del Moro’s pilgrimage is joined by international surfers Dave Rastovich, Lauren L. Hill, Conner and Parker Coffin as well as Italian stand-outs, Alessandro Ponzanelli and Leonardo Fioravanti.
