Lily: “What do you want Victor? I have a meeting at 9:30. I can’t be late.”
Victor: “Jason and I were having a little chat you see. He’s overworked; it’s summer. I think it might benefit him to take an afternoon off.”
Lily: “Let me think. *immediately* No. He’ll fall behind.”
Victor: “It’s one afternoon. I can’t imagine it’ll have that much of an impact.”
Lily: “And you suppose any company worth our while will want to hire him with sub-par grades?”
Victor: “He has a 4.0″
Lily: “And he’s already taken two AP classes; if I remember correctly those are graded on a 5.0 scale*.”
Victor: *scowling* “You sound more and more like your father ever day.”
Lily: “Well maybe the man was onto something.” *laughs*
Victor: “At one point in time you would have found the thought insulting...”
Lily: “What can I say. With age comes wisdom my dear.” *smiles*

“Cassandra, I thought that was you! I don’t know if Alex asked you yet, but I really need a copy of your old AP Macro notes. Alex mentioned you took the exam last year and since you’ve graduated and won’t need them any more can I have them? There’s apparently an AP macro exam in July. I want to take it but I’m freaking the hell out. Alex told me you had all these notebooks and I’d really really really appreciate it if I could borrow them for a week or two. Please?”
“Oh, um, yeah I guess. I’ll give them to Alex to pass along.”
“YOU’RE A LIFESAVER. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU. okay. see you later. Thanks again.”
