Anton walked into the mechanic shop, the sound of a tinkling bell above the door announcing his arrival. Though from the sound of it, some yowling and shouting from the garage portion of the shop had likely drowned out the small bell. After a moment of listening and waiting patiently, it became abundantly clear why there was no one behind the counter. 

How entertaining. He always did enjoy a little surprise during the day, to keep things from getting boring. He pulled out his cell phone and began to record his walk from the waiting room back to the working garage. Never knew when one could acquire a little bit of blackmail, or when it might be useful. 

As he rounded the corner, he saw something quite interesting indeed. The lone wolf who was supposed to be mounting his new tires, mounted instead inside of one of Regenbogen’s finest, John Darling. After a few moments of recording, Anton cleared his throat loudly, making his presence known, before he stopped the video and tucked his phone into his pocket.

“Well well.” He chastised, approaching his car and the pair with a scolding tone. “What do we have here? And on my car, no less?” The ire in his voice was plain as the glare in his eyes. “You will be throwing in a free detailing, inner and outer, obviously. Now the question is... who to show my little home video to first? Lee? Or the Regenbogen council?”

5. Did you hang out with the person you like recently?

I don’t ‘like’ anyone, romantically.

15. Are you going out with the last person you kissed?

No. I haven’t been on a date since before Emmy was born.

25. What would you say if the person you love/like kissed another girl/boy?

35. Do you ever write in pencil anymore?

I do. Permanent writing utensils aren’t really the best choice in a home with a 3-year-old. Plus, I use pencil at my job at the library.

45. If you could, would you take back your last kiss?

Yes, a million times yes.

50. Ever used a bow and arrow?

I dabbled in archery when I was younger. It was a phase, just like horseback riding and synchronized swimming. None of it stuck.

51. Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer?

When I was twenty and we had a family portrait done.

52. Do you think musicals are cheesy?

No. I love musicals. I wish I could see them more often.

53. Is Christmas stressful?

Not really. Emmy is very into writing lists for Santa, and Amazon is a lifesaver.

54. Ever eat a pierogi?

I’m sure, at some point.

55. Favorite type of fruit pie?

Lemon meringue.

56. Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?

I never really wanted to ‘be’ anything... I vaguely liked the idea of being famous, but not for anything in particular.

57. Do you believe in ghosts?

Absolutely not.

58. Ever have a Deja-vu feeling?

No.

59. Take a vitamin daily?

Yes. I got in the habit when I started taking prenatal vitamins, and after Emmy was born, I switched to Once A Day for Omegas.

65. Nike or Adidas?

I could not possibly care less about a shoe.

75. Do you study better with or without music?

I don’t study.

85. Are you patient?

I am the single parent of a very energetic three-year-old. Patience is required to exist in my home.
