A filmmaker interviews a man who's had a lifetime of alien contact, and a shady government agency takes the interviewee into custody. This one, like i said in the last one, was kind of bland. I think I may have liked this one a little bit less even. The man getting interviewed (played by #JulianRichings) gets only a few hours of sleep every few days... maybe he was just a bit crazy? Also what if he'd been played by, like... Sharlto Copley or Jackie Earl Haley? omg. The found footage segments were better than the parts with Dr. Tobin, the switch between the two was jarring, almost like two different movies edited together #LisaHoule seemed a little clunky). The POV of the soldiers in the field with the night vision was cool, and movies like this always make me want to buy night vision goggles in case I have to run through the woods at night. The alien looked sort of like the Flukeman from X-files crossed with the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the ending with the found footage from before the meeting in the beginning with the guy was interesting. I did like the scenes showing the "meetings" from either Cassidy's or Tobin's childhood showing how long they'd had contact w/the aliens was nice. I may also need to rewatch this one too, but was also one I wouldn't rush out to recommend. #ssmovieof2017 #netflixpurge #horror #scifi #AdamSeybold #MarkGibson #AriMiller #JasonDavidBrown writer: #TonyBurgess director: #ChadArchibald #MattWiele movie of 2017 number 23) #Ejecta
