It had been a few times now that he had seen gifts passed from someone to his lover. Complex thoughts were becoming more common in his mind, and overthinking was becoming a new habit...yet Jas found himself wanting to try and appease his lover with something beyond their affection and intimacy. Some physical indication that he cared and wanted to be there for his lover as long as...ever, he had to admit.
It was the sun after the show, though it seemed like any other sun for the seeker. He was looking at stalls and goods in the Gridanian market, leaning in close but not reaching out to give the sellers much hope.
Looking and observing were common habits at this point. Not being a man of much intellectual skill and never really having much pocket gil made him more appreciative of seeing fine works...considering he had no chance of buying them.
It was on this trip, however, that he was drawn by something in particular, easily swayed into an elezen’s company as the marketeer spoke at length of this peculiar item. Jas, being so curious and attentive, drank in the lesson, watching as the sparkling treasure was passed between the man’s hands.
He left Gridania that sun with less money on his person, but a grand sense of excitement due to the item in hand. His legs carried him quickly back to the Lavender Beds, the Lucky Sparrow abode an easy jog from the docks. The front door was only quickly disturbed, the miqo’te easily making his way to the office and slipping through the door.
There sat Yon at his desk, going over the previous night’s proceeds and attendance, though his reds eyes left the paperwork to find a grinning Jasui, whose hands were tucked behind his back.
“I gotcha somethin’, Yon...”
The blonde smiled, tilting his head in a bit of confusion. “What did you get?”
The miqo’te closed the distance, quickly pulling his hands out from behind his back as he held a fist fingers-up.
Fingers eased open to reveal a gold-setted garnet accented by two gold leaves on the band, the design simple but clean as it glimmered in the lamplight.
