Do you know what irks me about Pokémon HOME? It's just "Pokémon Box: Ruby and Sapphire 3", nothing special. Sure, you have the GTS and trades, but... that's it. It's just boxes (or just a box if you don't pay for it) and nothing more. Why not add stuff to make it a home, and not a bank?
Add Pokémon Amie/Refresh and implement the photo-taking thing from GO! Also, why not a battle sim? Give Pokémon Showdown an official counterpart. It doesn't have to be that extravagant, just lean into the PC styling of it, with the sprites and stuff.
(Speaking of battle sims... Can we get another one? I'm loving my current playthrough of Pokémon Battle Revolution.)
I've always wanted the PC aspects of Pokémon to be expanded. Your Pokémon are literally digitized. (Digimon?) That has some potential to make little mini-games that show off aspects of the spinoffs!
Imagine talking to an NPC and they say:
"I've been working on a program for the PC based on this weird dream I had. Pokémon in a team running through a mysterious series of floors, without a hint of humanity to speak of! Here, I want you to give it a try!"
Then you have a PMD mini-game.
If I could change one aspect about any Smash Bros fighter...
I would overhaul Mega Man's entire presentation. I don't want to change his moveset or anything gameplay related, I just want him to be Mega Man! He's not just a silent, stoic robot boy. He has more to him than just Mega Man 2! I want to see him petting Rush in his victory screen! I want to hear his voice! I want him to be himself and not just a gigantic reference to his sprites...
If I could take one thing from Pokémon GO and put it in Pokémon HOME too, I'd take the photo-taking mode because just look
Imagine posing with your latest shiny, or making little skits with your favorites. Make little scale sets out of cardboard or something... Fuck it, make your own PokéStar Studios!

I want to draw a height chart of Java with a couple of my mutuals and artists I consider friend's OC's. Mainly because I want to get across how short and shmooby Java is.
His base form is a nice 2'11". Small boi. Little bot.
His smallest form is his moth form at a mere 5 inches.
And his tallest is his Raichu form at 7 feet.
And obviously, since his forms are all just data anyway, these heights are subject to change. Those are just defaults!

Java begs from the hand of his creator, Kiilo. They were in a shop looking for parts to upgrade some of the labs' systems, but due to Java's current form, he was admittedly having trouble keeping his mind on the task at hand. Java was in his moth form, as he "just kind of felt like flying around today."
"I'm not letting you go until you either change your form to something that isn't attracted to the lightbulb section of the hardware store." Kiilo retorts.
"But just look at them... The different colors... The different warmths... The gentle flicker of the Strobe Effect is just like the stars in the sky... How could I not be attracted to them?"
"You know, you're sure acting romantic for an aromantic robot." Kiilo snickers, poking the moth in the fluffy belly. "Now either get into my pocket or transform into something else."
"I... fine, just... s-shut up..." Java sighs, defeated as he's gently placed into a coat pocket, safely hidden away from the illustrious LEDs.
