So one of my favorite FAVORITE sweets in the whole...

Alfajores are amazing! I wonder what the difference is with peruvian alfajores and regular alfajores…? The key usually lies on a not too hard nor too chewy nor crunchy cookie thing base. Also, we usually cover them in chocolate so if you have some, definitely try some out! Also, I always use a hard plastic cup or a regular glass to make the circular shapes

I think the difference lies in the texture of the cookie. I’ve tasted some that were advertised as Argentinian alfajores (emphasize on “advertised” since I don’t really know) and they were chewer than what I am used to, plus the taste was just a bit different.

The dulce de leche has stayed the same as always, so I don’t know if there would be other differences!.
