This isn’t directed at anybody in particular but what we’re ✨not✨ gonna do is skinny shame the man that gave us our favorite boy.
Too often lately I’ve seen people use stuff like “scrawny” and man. It doesn’t sit right with me.
Basically: nothing wrong with describing him and how he’s on the thinner side, but be aware that he literally gave us our fuckin mans Eddie and there’s literally nothing wrong with his body. 💕
Ok we all know I’m on my Stranger Things hyperfixation atm but genuinely it’s been so amazing to watch this series and watch the characters age and grow and get their arcs as well as watch the actors do the same. They’ve gone from little kids to like whole ass people with amazing acting skills and it just. Fills my heart with so much love and joy. Not to mention the gorgeous cinematography and soundtracks always being A+ I just. GOD I love it so much and I’m so thankful it exists.

So far today I’ve had to check and see that an 18+ MLM fic I posted (which has countless warnings) was liked by a 15 year old and 13(?) year old girl.

Like I’m aware that I can’t stop anybody from READING what I post. But in the warnings I’ve been like “if you’re female aligned, don’t have your age listed, or have a blank blog — I will block you”. Am I going insane??? Does nobody read warnings???
The way sometimes fics show up in my “based on your likes” bullshit and they’re so painfully out of character… like. Did we watch the same fuckin movie??? I don’t think we watched the same movie, love.
Yes, yes, creative freedom and choices — I respect that. However this shit isn’t even in the BALLPARK of what the character is like. 😭 I know this sounds petty but some people seem to truly be unable to deal with characters that aren’t morally good or have some sort of redemption-leaning arc. Is it just me? 🧍🏼♂️
