it’s snowing, which he wants to feel upset about, but honestly his car is pretty warm, he’s got some good music playing and the short walks to everyone’s door are a little brisk but all in all, not that bad― until NOW. he can see the person holding the door open, waiting for him, so he tries to pick up the pace a little bit to end this sort of awkward procession that’s happening, only his shoes don’t have a whole lot of grip on them and well.. he trips, rather spectacularly, when he’s almost at the door, the pizza box flying open and leaving the pizza to land face-down in the snow alongside him. he bounces back pretty easily from the fall, but stares dramatically with a gaping mouth when his gaze lands on the tragedy that is the ruined pizza. he then looks at the customer, then the pizza, then the customer. ❛ oh god, ❜ he says, starting to lift himself from his place on the ground, ❛ i’ll pay you whatever this pizza costs not to tell my boss about this. ❜ he’s already fumbling for his wallet, ready to count everything in there down to the change and hope he has enough. he might not. he hopes he does. he’s gonna have to cry in his car after this.
