Happy 6th Birthday Geordie Shore | May 24th 2011.
Still Nervous
“So, um, I just got paid, and I was wondering if you would maybe like to go out on Saturday?” Marie asks, rolling a pencil back and forth on her desk, not meeting Jay’s eyes. “I mean, if you haven’t already scheduled plans with your team or Gabriella.” She adds nervously.
She’s anxious about asking me out on a date again... She’s regressing.
Jay mentally swears at the thought. They’d been together for over two years, and now she was becoming more withdrawn and scared once again.
“Sure, what do you have planned?” Jay asks, smiling.
Marie looks up at him, surprised. “Wait, really?” She asks, eying him cautiously.
“Well, yeah,” Jay answers, gently leaning over her shoulders slightly and giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Why wouldn’t I be serious?”
“Well, I mean, I thought you had plans with Gabriella, and if you do, I don’t want you to cancel those. I mean, I’m not stopping you, but you probably should. And I mean, it wouldn’t be that bad if I just spent another day in writing, I guess.” Marie continues to ramble on, making Jay smile and roll his eyes.
“C’mon Marie,” Jay says, pulling out her chair for her. “Let’s go out tonight, too.”
“We really don’t have to!” Marie interjects, trying to pull herself away as Jay helps her up. “I mean, aren’t you busy? You just completed a mission and-“
“Marie,” Jay interrupts the shorter’s nervoud rambling, stopping her dead in her tracks. “I love you. Now come on, let’s go do something fun. Self care day for you, not me.”
The Academy Can And Will Enhance Your Strengths
“Everyone has something they’re good at,” Jay said, shrugging while smiling over to Marie Moreau, the Academy’s newest recruit. “The Academy can enhance that.”
