Jié is a twenty-year old, Taiwanese-American college student who is majoring in film production. Along with balancing school and their social life, Jié is also balancing out the supernatural. Her prosthetic eyes gives her control over shadows, since a shadow spirit possesses it. Once Jié befriended the spirit, it began to teach him more about the shadows.
Jié is six feet tall. They have dark brown hair and olive skin. Their left (viewer's right) eye has a medium dark pink iris, while their right (viewer's left) eye has a black sclera and white iris. Her right eye is often covered by hair, since her prosthetic makes her a target for power-hungry spirits. Due to discomfort with having his neck visible, Jié often wears turtlenecks and scarfs.
Jié's pronoun use varies because they're genderfluid, but most default to she/her or they/them. They don't wish to label their attraction, since it's too complicated for them to understand.
Small Info Stuff
* They have a mango allergy, despite being nicknamed "Mango" by the shadow spirit that possesses their prosthetic.
* She was on the wrestling team for two years in high school. She quit to pursue photography and writing.
* He follows a lacto-vegetarian diet, since he was raised with it.
* They don't know how to solve emotional problems, but they are able to solve problems with machinery. Because of their connections to spirits, they're forced to solve any upset spirits' emotional problems so they won't bother the living.
