Jay Matsueda "Wait For Me"
It's 3D!!!! (When you have some of those red/blue glasses which you have when you ordered Screaming Maldini's album as I told you or you turn off the 3D thing or build one yourself with cyan and red foil...don't know if that works.) It's way cool! This is actually one of most amazing videos I have seen in quite some time. The film was made by Leslie and Markus Lanxinger. I am always amazed when such videos appear - made out of creativity and love for the music and not for money. I think often small artists can easily outdo big budgets and stuff with their creativity and the amazing things they create.
Matsueda's debut album "Eat Your Sad" has been one of my favourites since it's release in 2009. Some of the songs from that album still count to my most favourites tracks like "Excess Emissions" - once started I play it over and over again for ages. I love the way the words, lyrics, work with the melodies and his voice. There is a bit of a Jazz influence as well. "Wait For Me" is the first song from his upcoming album. I can't wait.
