✍ (how about a group of guys try to start a fight with one or both of them...AAAAAAND GO <3)
everyone knew fame came with its perks. however, it’s inevitable for celebrities to deal with less than favorable downsides as well.
it was supposed to be a simple night out. nothing too big or anything, just a few drinks at the bar with a few people from his crew. to say the atmosphere was lacking would be an understatement, really. things appeared to be less lively as it usually would be at the joint from the outside looking in, & cody was practically itching for something good to happen. upon entering, though, he noticed a familiar figure in the form on jay near the bar. not only him, but a group of three men trying to intimidate him from the looks of things. it was strange, considering the actor didn’t quite know the other male all that well, but it just didn’t sit right with him if a bunch of drunkards were trying to gang up on an innocent person. cracking his knuckles, cody made his way over to where the other men were, stopping just in between jay & the group as he leaned against the counter, waving for the bartender’s attention, “yo, my man, a shot of tequila for me & the boys, yeah ?”
with the bartender taking his request, cody then turned to look at the strangers beside him, leaning his back against the counter top & folding his arms, raising a brow. “& what’s your fucking problem, trying to attack my boy, jay, here ?” he questioned coldly, not a single trace of kindness made in his tone. just from the look at the groups’ expressions, it was obvious that they were second-guessing approaching the singer. though, apparently, the leader of their shitty circus didn’t think it to be appropriate to back down by shrugging, “he’s sitting in my spot of the fucking bar. so tell your little friend to move it, or i’ll force you bother to move.” oh, how the wannabe thug couldn’t have done a more terrible job at executing his request. the hot tone he used on cody was a huge no, causing the younger male to laugh humorlessly at the pathetic excuse of a threat. “jay, you here that, man ? he’s going to force us to leave ! that’s cute, real cute,” he spoke condescendingly, shaking his head in amusement at the mere thought of the three of them trying to carry out their threat.
however, once all traces of amusement washed away from the twenty-two year old’s face, a firm glare replaced it as he fully turned to face the annoying bar patrons. “go ahead, brother, force me,” he patronized lowly, a sly smirk evident on his face. almost as if on cue, the offending male moved in an attempt to punch cody, managing to land a hit on his jaw --- though, it wasn’t anything that he couldn’t handle. with a nod of his head, he paused & took a deep breath before grabbing hold of the back of the strangers’ head & slamming them face first into the counter top. “nice one, but you’ll have to do more than that,” he laughed, sending a look to the two apparent henchmen as they watched on with an expression of fear across their features. the man on the floor groaned out in pain before slowly getting up to his feet, winding up another punch, but this time directed at jay. thankful for the training he’s done, cody quickly caught hold of his arm before his fist made close quarters with his friend’s face, twisting it until it was up against the offender’s back. “next time ... try not to be a dick, bro,” was what he said in finalization, bringing his victim over to the entrance & pushing him out of the bar. smacking his hands together, he watched as the two others rushed after their accomplice, sending a smirk to jay’s direction back at the bar, “so ... how about those tequila shots, man ?”
