Hi Anon!! Don't worry about being a bother - I love receiving asks :) I ended up focusing this rec list on Jason Todd & the Arrowfamily, because I've been reading/thinking about them a lot lately. This does mean it's fairly ship heavy, so if this isn't to your tastes feel free to request a different list!
Honeyverse by daggerpen (T, 57k) - Connor Hawke/Jason Todd series set in late post-crisis. The second work is an ensemble cast casefic by saphire_dance, so it's not centered on the ship. I was up until 4:30 last night binging this entire series last night and you should read it in its entirety right now, also.
observance by @laufire (M, 11k, 1/1) - Jaymia oneshot where the Bats go through their day in Gotham and Jason celebrates Mia's birthday with her family. I love the dynamics here.
Stable Relationships by @glitter-stained (G, 17k, 5/?) - Jayroy slowburn, no capes, horse movie AU. I have recommended this before and I will do so again.
Dirt in the Sewer by Wisetypewriter (T, 4k, 1/1) - Gen, includes Jason, Dinah, Ollie, and Roy, but Bruce is haunting the narrative like particularly dark storm cloud.
futile care by black_banners_raised (NR, 11k, 4/4) - Gen, Oliver Queen & Jason Todd focused, shortly post-batarang incident. Roy shows up! And Bruce, because of course he does.
Some Cupid Kills with Arrows by poisonivory (T, 38k, 8/8) - Jayroy post-Heroes in Crisis fix-it. The mystery is very compelling, as is Jason's entire pining/mourning thing he has going on for Roy.
there’s no better love than with you by Warriorcrazy (T, 2k, 1/1) - Jayroy fluffy fic where he has dinner with Roy's family. It's very sweet.
It is only, and all about Roy by chucklesbuckles (G, 6k, 1/1) - Gen, Oliver Queen & Jason Todd working together and mourning Roy. I probably shouldn't put this as last on the list it's pretty devastating. Sorry in advance.

i wish you guys could see beautiful world in my head where miarose and connorjay are real. rose, mia, and jay are the outlaws, with occasional cameos from eddie boober AND!! respawn. the outlaws found respawn and he and rose reunited and rose is trying to have a good relationship and take care of him. AND rose and lian’s sisterisms are returned as well, leading to lian and respawn developing a sort of chaotic siblings-ish relationship. à la nearly stabbing each other and then playing x box games right after.
in their early outlaw days, rose and mia work well together on the surface, but this is clouded by the fact they are both jealous of the incomplete picture they see of the other. rose thinks mia does not struggle at all to be the strong, confident survivor she is. mia thinks rose is so nonchalant and that none of this gets to her. these jealousies come out in picking on each other. this dynamic intensifies and morphs into pretty much a very adversarial version of gay chicken, very much “you want to fuck me so bad you woke up at 4 am to meticulously coat all my hair ties in nair.” connor and lian are always trying to get them to talk it out. it gets to the point even jay intervenes. none of them are successful. but alas, they do reach a breaking point and decide to talk it out. sexual tension resolution, followed by feelings. from there, it develops into something really sweet. they come to understand each other’s insecurities and fears. they give each other the space to explore their own insecurities and fears in each other. as two characters who’ve both felt so hypersexual in the past, they start to make desire AND love feel safer between them.
in the first outlaws story arc, before rose came on the scene, mia and jay had a whole coldish acquaintances to platonic soulmates arc. they were working the same case, investigating a string of murdered sex workers in major cities across the country. obviously, this is something that triggers both of them, and then they run into each other, who they haven’t actually seen since a certain gymnasium was blown up, despite jason’s years of working with roy and few missions with lian’s teen titans. it becomes apparent after a few instances of running in to each other that this is a highly emotional endeavor for both of them. after a rough night on the case, they stumble back to a safe house and absolutely blow up at each other. but then, they run out of steam and they’re both left panting, tears in their eyes, the big bad no closer to being found. jay breaks the silence with something sad and pathetic like “wait don’t…leave.” but he doesn’t have any reasoning really, so he just marches to his safe house kitchen and starts making a box of brownies. the awful night morphs into them taking care of each other. mia showers first, and after the first 20 minutes where mia makes no progress towards being done, jay sits with the door ajar and times/talks to her. jay showers next, and mia sits and talks to him as well. or tries to—jay copes in the opposite way and takes the shortest shower possible, wanting to get out of there asap. but then they sit on the bathroom floor and talk about anything possible besides the case or their wounds until jay remembers, “oh shit the brownies.” (the whole shower routine becomes their ritual in the future for cases that pick at their wounds)
when the outlaws aren’t doing missions, jay and connor are getting up to some absolute bullshit. more getting trapped in ancient cities and stumbling upon magic cults and such. they have vastly different views on vigilantism, but they’ve come to know each other so well, they understand why each other needs their specific outlook. they just know each other, and See each other. that’s all either of them crave really. to be Known. so they compromise and course adjust and Love each other

Not exactly sure how Connor ended up in this situation and right now he doesn't quite seem like the character I've encountered in Morrison's JLA or the crossovers with Kyle Rayner, but the Jason Todd parallels are calling to me. Might have to go reread the jayconnorkyle and jayconnor works on ao3

Anyways, y'know how apparently Damian and Connor are friends, right? Well, AU where Damian plays matchmaker for Jayconnor to protect Jason from undeserving suitors.
Okay that would be hilarious and perfect. Damian would go all out I’m sure, since the kid’s not one to half-ass anything and it’d be funny too if Jason and Connor had never even met before Damian begins his matchmaking efforts.
I can't stop thinking about connorjay and roykyle, but in the context of jayroy and kyleconnor as ex boyfriends. Ollie thinking he doesnt have to deal with Jason and kyle ever again and they come back. with a diferent son. at the same time.

who wakes up first in the morning: jason does and he likes the quiet of it when he can hear roy’s breathing and just. recenter. especially if the night before was long or restless
who’s the first to fall asleep at night: jason dozes a lot in the night but is also really easy to wake, when they actually go to bed roy can usually pass out once hishead hits the pillow
what they playfully tease each other over: god EVERYTHING. their families. their clothes. “you used that gun?” “oh im sorry i didnt know the archer was now the pistol police”. etc etc
what they do when the other’s having a bad day: roy is very touchy and while jason isnt so much whenever theyre feeling down they just like to be close to each other. legs linked while they sit on the couch together, hands caressing the backs of each others necks, arms always brushing because theyre standing too close. physical comfort is a major aspect of their relationship after each having struggled with it for so long and learning it can be a good thing together.
how they say ‘i’m sorry’ after arguments: jason is really stubborn but when it comes to these two hes usually the first to apologise. it will be a short apology and he’ll never acknowledge why they fought but roy will always accept his apology once theyve both cooled off
which one’s more ticklish: jason. roy found this out when he gave jason’s knee a horsebite and wound up with a blood nose
their favourite rainy day activities: roy makes jason watch bad tv shows he missed while growing up, cleaning their weapons, just... being alive
how they surprise each other: they don’t really surprise each other much? theyre so intune with each other from working together that they can usually predict or understand what the other is up to. sometimes roy will come home with a classic version of a book jason likes or sometimes jason will wear a shirt of roy’s he called ugly, but nothing major.

what they playfully tease each other over: jason always gives connor shit about his green arrow outfit, connor always gives jason shit about... anything. also bruce and ollie get a lot of shit from the both of them once they really get going.
what they do when the other’s having a bad day: connor knows that jason always needs someone to listen to him, because usually his frustration over the little things actually has a lot to do with something bigger. hes good at digging within a conversation to find what that is. if connor is feeling down, jason knows to take him to the take out place across town that reminds him of his favourite one in star city

what they do when the other’s having a bad day: kyle flies them to the santa monica pier for them to sit there for a few hours. kyle always misses the beach, and jason likes how the scene is so different from gotham
