Post-sunset wine and cheese sesh with him yesterday made me realize how much of a dorky, cutesy, and loving couple we actually are.
Thanks, Jason :)
2040 comments at the time that I post this. Most of them are pure nonsense, of course, but if you sort them by "Best rating" you get the interesting ones. Something I learned just now from [one of the comments](http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/war-of-words-breaks-out-among-jehovahs-witnesses-2361448.html#comment-320641385): the JWs are now publishing two editions of their famous magazine *The Watchtower*. There's one meant for public consumption and one meant for insiders. They say the outrageous things in the internal-use-only version, I imagine. At least, if their current mode of operations is anything like what it was when I escaped 24 years ago. I moved 3000 miles away to go to grad school and rebooted my life. I never tried talking to the JWs I grew up with, so I don't know if they would talk to me or not. (I do have some light contact with a couple of those childhood friends online, though.) I haven't had to deal with the crap the people in the comments have to. At this distance in time and space, with a happy life chugging along, my childhood is mostly a source of amusing stories.
