Why do you hate wuthering heights?
I just do. I’ve read it and studied it several times, and I really do appreciate it from a critical standpoint. From a personal standpoint though, I really hate the characters and I realize that’s kind of the point with Heathcliff, but oh my god. I just can’t.
In her first piece for the Attic, Nataly Ramírez Baeza shares women’s experiences with reading in Chile from the Belle Epoque to today. Read here!

Il Mondo, Smile and We Are Love :)
Il Mondo: Where in the world would you most like to visit?Oh dear, have you got a minute? There are so many places I want to go in the world. It changes quite a lot too. Right now I’d love to go to Venice. It’s rich in art and history and I found a flight for only 28 euros and I’m eagerly awaiting next months salary to see if I maybe could spend a couple of days in Italy without plundering my savings ;) Also because I’m learning Italian right now.
Smile: What is one thing that makes you happy?Right now it’s working long days at work, actually. Might sound weird, but I’m terrible at doing nothing. I have too much time to myself and I’m prone to ~dark~ thoughts after too long on my own. If I have a busy day at work, I have other things to think about. Like remembering whether somebody ordered sweet or salt popcorn. :P
We Are Love: What languages can you speak? My own language is Dutch, obviously. I speak English fluently. I had a tiny bit of German in high school but since I’ve lived about an hour from Germany all my life and was there quite often, I can sometimes understand a little of it. My high school French which wasn’t that good to start with is fading to the back of my mind pretty quickly, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to start learning a little more French soon. Sometimes I keep my diary in French to exercise. Not big emotional stuff etc, but just what I did that day. And I’m also currently learning Italian! And also Danish.
Thanks! These were very interesting questions to answer! xx :)
