I have a Stony ficlet I wrote that I need beta’d (though I’m going to do one more read through before it’s totally ready to be looked it). It’s roughly 2k. It is a comics!verse fic, 616, and takes place after the events of Secret Empire Omega and includes a little bit of spoilage from what we’ve heard of Waid’s upcoming Captain America run. Would anyone be willing to look at it for me? I would love you forever!

Perhaps because of all the Gruenwald I’ve been reading lately I wrote a short little ficlet (1k) introducing Rachel Leighton to MCU!Steve Rogers... would anyone be willing to beta this for me? I realize this is a limited niche as a lot of Cap fans might not know who Rachel even is, but if anyone is interested in reading this over for me I would be eternally grateful!
(I’m actually thinking of making a series of ficlets introducing Steve to a bunch of characters who might never make it into the MCU, like Arnie Roth and Bernie Rosenthal and Jim Hammond and Thomas Raymond).

Hi! Thanks for the interest! Yes, that’s next. I just finished a Steve/Namor one-shot that I need to do a little bit of editing for but Little Boy Blue is the next priority. In fact, I’m already halfway through the next chapter.
Sorry I’m being so slow with it. Finding time to sit down and write is hard. That fic in particular takes a lot of work because I have to stop every five minutes to google things to make sure it’s historically accurate. Most of my tumblr-ing is either done via phone or while I’m at work waiting for reports to run, the writing I can only do at home.
“Don’t do it, man,” Sam warned, shooting Steve an irritated look. “Homeless or not, that guy could recognize you. Recognize both of us. Maybe he’s seen our faces on a newspaper somewhere.”
And yeah, okay, Sam had a point. A good point. Coming into the States was risky enough as it was. It was a miracle that the alias Steve was currently using, one established during his SHIELD days, hadn’t been leaked with the others, that he still had a working passport. Natasha had had to drum one up for Sam. Thus one dye job and two beard growths later, here they were, risking their lives for even stepping foot on American soil. But coming here had been necessary. They needed to search Karpov’s house. They needed to clear Bucky’s name, clear them all…
“You know I lived through the Great Depression, right?” Steve asked, letting out a breath he’d been holding, his exhale turning white in the cold. He hunched a little, digging his hands deeper into his pockets as if that would somehow miraculously make him warmer. Lord how he hated the goddamn cold. The European winters during the war had been their own form of torture and they’d left their imprint forevermore, even for someone whose serum enhanced body was flushed with the metabolism of a jack rabbit. “I know what it feels like to starve, to be impoverished. Neither are very fun. The least we could do is get some food in him.”
