Jaylin Davis and Austin Slater taking a knee during the national anthem prior to tonight’s (7/21/20) exhibition game versus the Oakland A’s. About a dozen players/coaching staff took a knee tonight, including the likes of Hunter Pence, Pablo Sandoval and Mauricio Dubon.

Multiple Giants players took a knee during the national anthem ahead of Monday’s game against the Athletics, and manager Gabe Kapler was among them.
Outfielder Jaylin Davis was one of the Giants who took a knee, and shortstop Brandon Crawford stood beside him with one hand on Davis' shoulder. First-base coach Antoan Richardson, Mike Yastrzemski and Austin Slater also knelt.
Kudos to the 4 Giants players and a couple of their coaches for kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem. I hope more players in all sports take part in doing so.
