Did you just replaced your HDD? I just did this recently on my macbook. My lion boot USB wasn't working so I had to use a time machine backup from like 2011 when I had an imac. My macbook thinks it's an imac now.
no my imac stroked out while i was away this week corrupted the internal drive to the point of being unusable-- couldnt even open disk warrior to try to fix it
Im not sure if the hard drive is on the way out (havent had a chance to check the SMART info yet) or if something else went wrong but now lion JUST finished installing so im gonna do some diagnostics on it. I've already replaced the drive in the iMac for a larger version when the last one failed after 2 years and I dont really want to do it again. She's an old beast (late 2009) and has been downgraded to a glorified facebook & netflix machine.

Yeah, I learnt everything from here. That page is a in-depth explanation of the original guide on how to write Circular Gallifreyan here. There's also an app to write words and sentences in Circular Gallifreyan on the second link, but it's a lot less fun than actually trying it for yourself.
Also, they leave some room for you to create your own stylistic rules, like how you can or cannot connect every line modification, or where you place vowels.
