BabyPhotog: The start of my journey on Baby Photography

A friend tagged me a picture on facebook. It’s a picture of a baby girl. The photographer is Jay Santos (you can get in touch with him via FB).

I wanted one for Baby Boy T as well. His rate is very reasonable, it’s Php1500/hour in his studio in Alabang. And we live in QC area. Oh my gulay, the travel is not convenient for me at all. I was breastfeeding for an hour every 2 hours! It’s gonna be a struggle. I asked our wedding photographer in QC and the rate is Php12,000 for 4 hours. So I challenged myself to take professional-looking photos. Maaaan, it was hard, we’re talking about a 3-week old baby. When he cries, I breastfeed until he calms down then I position him, get the camera, adjust him (which leads to crying coz I was disturbing his sleep). I only got a couple of photos. NOT professional looking but level upped from your usual point-and-shoot. All is done under natural lighting. This is in the afternoon. Do not place your baby under the afternoon sun as their skin is still very sensitive (Yes, I didn't know any better then). I used blankets and bed sheets for the background. Here are some of the pictures.
