Some bonds last beyond death. In dreams, his spirit comes. He knows when I need him.

My Oriental longhaired cat Jayto who died in March 2007, still comes back to me from time to time. The last dream was so vivid, I could even feel his fur again. 

I have been experimenting with different techniques and styles - this painting was inspired by Rembrandt's oil paintings - so I tried to keep it painterly without falling into the detailing-trap.

Today it's 14 years ago that a little miracle came to Earth... Jayto: 27 November 2003
