Viktor remained unresponsive. Jayce held his breath and just hoped for the best. It hurt to see Viktor like this, it hurt so much that he couldn't move.
For a second, Jayce thought that they were frozen in time. Until Viktor moved to hold his hand weakly and to look him in the eye.
Jayce just knew.
"You have to let me go."
Only then did Jayce start to process everything. Only then did he start to wonder, where did everything start to go wrong.
