I've been relistening to season 1 of TMA here and there and I just want to keep a running tally of how many Michaels there are in this show because so far I've found three (one of them was an early mention of Mike Crew but the other two are just unrelated background Michaels)

#every time I hear mention of another Michael I think of that one Q&A ep where they got a question like #'do you have trouble coming up with names for characters?' and Jonny was like 'OBVIOUSLY.........' lmao #I mean this in the nicest way honestly i just think it's rly funny #also tho I did mix up Michael Shelley & Mike Crew every time one of them was mentioned #during my first listen thru #(altho I'm inclined to chalk that up to my difficulty remembering names bc I forget or mix up character names in stories all the time #I'm v enthusiastic abt fictional characters but very bad at keeping track of them)#jaywords

every so often when I go thru my camera roll I remember I have pics of myself from 2018 when I was trying so hard to be femme. and then I compare them to pics from within the last year where I look like I got hit by a butchification beam and I'm like. good for me. good for me! it's what he deserves

Currently reading: slowly working my way thru the complete Sherlock Holmes collection + 'Underland' by Robert Macfarlane (and enjoying both SO MUCH). also just started 'The Lamplighters' by Emma Stonex, bc I really ought to give it back to my library at some point lol

Last series: have been watching Witch Hat Atelier with Bel - I haven't read any of the manga yet so I'm going into the anime p much blind and it's been a wonderful experience so far. the art is lovely and the characters are sooo charming~

Last movie: Project Hail Mary w/ my family this past weekend! great movie. I need to read the book again at some point

Last song: 'Asteroid Belt' by Adam Young, bc his Voyager 1 album is one of my go-tos when I need to concentrate at work. but if we're only counting songs with lyrics then 'Lemon' by Kenshi Yonezu (typical Jay behavior)
