Jazz Apple Cafe - Cupcakes Review
I used to pass by this shop a long time ago and look at it and say "I bet these are the types of cake that are good to look at but not to eat".
I never did try them until recently. Guests have brought some to a dinner party and I had a go at it.
Tried from top left clockwise (Triple Choc Mud, I forgot the name but it's a Carrot Cake one, Mocha, and I also forgot the name but it was some sort of chocolatey one that reminds me of a black forest).
Overall, I stand by my previous statement. They are pretty from the outside and quite bland and normal from the inside. The icing will give you diabetes from the first bite which might trick you into thinking that it's tasty because it is too sweet. Once you get into the cake, it just tastes like something you can get in a box from the supermarket.
Don't get me wrong, the carrot cake actually taste okay. But only one out of four is not good enough to make me visit that shop.
