“i want... everything with you.” it comes out of nowhere, thrown at him over the breakfast table but she can’t watch him without seeing her entire future. and she wants him to know. “i’m okay with this, you know? if i don’t get anything i want except you, it’s... it’s more than okay.”

       ‘ you mind giving us a lift, mate? ’ he’s all easy smiles, trying to look like the guy you wouldn’t mind picking up on the side of the road. he’s pretty sure he doesn’t look like an axe murderer, at least. ‘ just whichever way you’re going. ’

“and? don’t just--- stop looking at me like that. do you LIKE it?”  she shakes her blonde hair with a bright grin.  “i can get used to it i am just... god seb, SAY SOMETHING. you hate it, don’t you? i told them you’d hate it.”  || @jazzkinged

             “seb, please?”   he looks utterly EXHAUSTED. it’s 3am and she wants nothing more than for him to finally come to bed, get some rest. she’s worried.  hands come up, resting on his shoulders giving them a gentle squeeze before she bends down. soft lips brush over his temple, words whispered against his skin when she speaks again.  “you can’t FORCE it, you know that. come with me, let us work on this tomorrow, okay?” hands move, from shoulders to chest and her chin taking her right hand’s place on his shoulder.  “i miss you, i’ve barely seen you the last two days. kiss me, will you?”

“ what?   no. god no. not about YOU !! ”      but she’s still searching through her bag for the hankerchief. lips are pressed together when she FINALLY finds it, reaching out to press it against his nose ( not nearly as gentle as she’s supposed to but also not harsh enough to genuinely make him believe she doesn’t care ).  “ does it HURT? “ words mumbled, gaze kept on his NOSE rather than his eyes. 

                            “that was... PRETTY STUPID, do you know that ?? that guy looked scary. “

“huh, does it now?”  brows are furrowd, hands holding his as she’s staring at the wound like it’s the most serious injury in the world and simply HAS to be treated right now. a cut, not exactly paper thin but nothing FATAL either.  he’ll keep the hand ( smirk spreading across her face at her own funny little thought ). still, could have been a lot worse and she knows as well as he does that his hands are important ( so is everything else about him in her humble opinion ).  bending down, she lets her lips brush over the back of his hand, smirk still not gone.

 “poor little baby, are you in a lot of pain? let me see.” she tilts his hand a little, keeps pressing small little kisses along his skin before she straightens up, stares at him with a sincerety that almost makes her eyes glow. “you ought to be more CAREFUL, seb, alright? i kinda like you in ONE PIECE.”

     “not a great day.” words are mumbled against his skin without further explanation. she doesn’t mention the HARSH words from the producer, doesn’t mention the unpleasant encounter with one of the customers at the shop. the thing is: she knows she doesn’t have to- that he doesn’t NEED an explanation. 

  his arms feel like a wall around her, protecting her from any harm. it’s an unspoken promise that he will be there, that it doesn’t matter what happened to day as long as she is here now. and for a moment, she allows herself to DROWN in that feeling. the warmth of his skin, the feeling of his lips on hers. troubles melt at the tenderness, what’s left is nothing but bliss. “thank you- for being you. for keeping up with me being me.” the sigh that leaves her soothing. HOME, that’s what he feels like. “i don’t know what i would do without you.”
