JAZZLIFE06 is going to a compilation album of all the early Blood Red Shoes recordings before the debut album, we’re calling it Tied At The Wrist. All of the songs are taken from short-run 7″ vinyl which has been out of print for years and years now and has never been made available for download or streaming...so we figured it’s about time. It’s being released this Friday, 27th November via iTunes, Amazon, 7Digital and the usual places. we took all the songs off the original 16 track analogue tapes, cleaned them up a bit in the mix and had it mastered properly this time. the tracklisting is

Two of those songs we later re-recorded with Mike “The Doctor” Crossey for our first album but these are the original homemade versions right here.
We don’t have any plans to release it on a physical format because it’s fun to get this old stuff out there for the people who are interested, but mostly right now we just want to focus on the new, not the old, so all our efforts are going into the writing for our next album. So a digital release seemed like the right way to go.
