7. anime you are currently watching

I am currently rewatching Detective Conan to catch up where I left off a few years ago (around the 700s). If I get a little burned out, I’m planning to watch  Assassination Classroom and Bungo Stray Dogs, series recommended by friends.

12. anime that should get more attention from others

Detective Conan/Case Closed for sure. It is legitimately great and has been consistently good for over 20 years. There’s a reason why it’s movies keep beating Avengers in Japan. I get that the number of episodes turns people off, but there are many lists online that cut the series to it’s essential episodes. There is an overarching plot, but it shows up sporadically (the manga has better pacing). Though to be fair, if you don’t like the “new case each week format,” this show isn’t for you because it’s this series bread and butter. I recommend people at least check out the movies as a way to get a feel of the show. They have a recap in the beginning of each one.

Older anime in general. Yu Yu Hakusho is a masterpiece and yet I don’t see much presence online.

1, 14, 23?

1-  I’ve been gaming before I can talk, but the first game I played obsessively was the first game that was officially mine (no more sharing with my family) Scooby-Doo Mystery for SNES. I passed the game within the first 4 months of owning it.

14-  This is extremely hard for me because I love video game music, 70% of my playlist consists of it. If it’s retro, anything from the Mega Man or Castlevania series is winner. If it’s modern, I’d choose the Onimusha 2 soundtrack. A lot of the songs share a leitmotif and I love that.

23-  Easily Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64. I probably put in more than 3000 hours into that game. The CAW movelist system and controls were ahead of their time, and dare I say, no other wrestling game I’ve played has compared.

20. Name something you have to do tomorrow? We get to take Gemma to the vet to have her hip checked out and some routine bloodwork done. Her hip has been bothering her so we just need to make sure she doesn’t need a different medication.
