The JBHS Girls VarsityWaterpolo team played great today and came 3rd but it was the first time Ema actually got to ever hold a medal or should I say cup in this sport. She was so happy! She has worked so hard all these years and her teams are usually always undefeated until the last games and then they place 4th. (Except her first highschool year in JV they won The League). I reminded her CIF is coming up and you girls will place again and next year you will be playing with a great waterpolo team in college @pacificwaterpolo for University of The Pacific and I think there you will be doing a lot of winning. She said mom “I am tired of coming 3rd or 4th I just want to start finally winning”. As I tell her “Never ever give up, work hard, see what you want in your mind, visualize it and you will do what ever you want! Ema and her Varsity waterpolo team mates with an above average 3.5 GPA. (So proud of her right now she has a 4.2). How I love hard working kids it makes me so happy to see them feeling good about themselves. This is the secret to all success and the big problem why there are way too many lost kids in this world. Lack of self esteem and belief in themselves. Most kids aren’t strong enough to do it alone they need other people to believe in them first.
