To say that the morning had started off unexpectedly was an understatement. The sound of cries filled the Great Hall as students made quick work of picking out a baby, the werewolf hanging towards the edge of the group. Remus locked eyes with Jen and hoped he didn’t look as concerned as he felt.

“Hey Jen.” He exhaled with an exasperated smile. “So, I guess we’re partners?” Being paired with someone he knew and liked brought a much needed measure of relief.
